Black Friday is here! And we are popping up at Spaces by Blue Arrow from 10:00-5:00pm. We hope you can come by to shop local and enjoy some cheese while you’re shopping. Below is our cheese pairings and offerings:

Minnesota Christmas Market - 2021
MN Christmas Market - 2021
Small Business Saturday is here! And we are participating by attending the MN Christmas Market at the DECC. Here’s a reason to shop with us - this event has an added gift of giving by benefiting The Reel Hope Project. As a vendor, we will be donating 7% of our sales to this cause. The Reel Hope project makes videos of kids in Minnesota who are waiting to be adopted, sharing these videos around the state to find a forever family for every child. We hope this donation and awareness will help this organization and the kid’s they impact.

Boarder Battle Box
The Boarder Battle Box is here! For a limited time only! Packers or Vikings - who do you have winning? Better news: This box will win every time!
The time is almost here for football fans to gather round on a Sunday and cheer for their team. On Sunday, 11/21/21 is the first of two Boarder Battles! Packers vs. Vikings!
Both Calley and Kimber and die-hard Packer Fans, and actually one of the things that brought the two together as friends. Both originally are from Wisconsin, but now live in Minnesota. So for (almost) every year that they have been friends, they have traveled down to Lambeau or elsewhere (ask them about Dallas!) to watch a game during the season. During these adventures, a lot of cheese stops were had! And from there, the rest is history!
Fast-forward to the present and let us dive in deeper into what is all featured in this Limited Time Boarder Box!
First up is Salami Colby Cheese from Ellsworth Creamery (Ellsworth, WI). This yellow cheese is tasty all by itself or with a pretzel cracker. The Salami mixed in makes this a treat that is sure to be a crowd pleaser!
Next up is something for any spicy-fans! We have a Pimento Spreadable Cheese from Redhead Creamery (Brooten, MN). This cheese has got some heat to it (but not too much!) and can be enjoyed on some pretzel crackers.
Then, from the same creamery - we have the Tipsy Tilsiter. This cheese is washed with Milk & Honey Cider’s Flora. This cheese has got a strong flavor so if you are not sure about it - try it with a cracker!
Lastly, we also have some Gouda Cheese from Marieke Gouda. We actually have a choice between two (we couldn’t decide!). Bacon Gouda has a smoky, bacon flavor or you can have the Jalapeno Gouda (again, some spice!). Since we couldn’t decide you get to!
And although this isn’t a cheese, we thought we would mention that we are featuring Von Hanson’s Salami. Since this is something that pairs so well with cheese and is from Minnesota, we thought we’d give them a shout-out!

Bent Paddle Double Shot Double Black Release Party!
Saturday, 11/13 - Yes, Cheese will be in the taproom providing pairings to go with Bent Paddle’s Double Shot Double Black Beer! Below is our featured cheeses during that event:
Dos Amigo’s Smoked Gouda
Gibbsville Cheese | Gibbsville, WI
Gibbsville is a small town in Wisconsin.. How small? 512 in 2010 census! But this little town has an amazing creamery. From this creamery, they produce some high quality cheeses and even cheese curds! But featured in our Bent Paddle Event Boxes is their Dos Amigo’s Smoked Gouda. This Gouda is smoked to perfection and the complimentary smokey flavor pairs with this rich black beer. See more from Gibbsville on their website.

Specialty Reserve Cheddar
Gibbsville Cheese | Gibbsville, WI
Another featured cheese from Gibbsville, but this one is their Specialty Reserve Cheddar which is an aged cheddar. This crumbly cheddar cheese is salty and oh-so tasty. We wanted to provide you with a wide range of cheeses that showcase how different each cheese can be - even from the same creamery!

Red Temper (Chipotle Honey Cheddar)
Redhead Creamery | Brooten, MN
Redhead Creamery is a Minnesota creamery, relatively close to St. Cloud! We were fortunate enough to go on a farm tour and learned all about their process from milking to cheese-making. We even got to meet Lindy, the mother and owner of the farm. After the tour, we sampled some cheese and couldn’t go home without bringing any back! This cheese has a little bit of spice to it but paired with Double Shot Double Black, it plays with the contrasting flavors. Learn more about their family-run operation here!

Redhead Creamery
Redhead Creamery, located in Brooten, Minnesota has a variety of cheeses that is all made from the milk their farm produces.
Brooten, Minnesota. Population 743. Why should you road trip to Brooten, Minnesota? The answer is: Redhead Creamery! On a beautiful fall day, we visited this lovely little town (approximately an hour west of St. Cloud), for a family friendly farm tour, fresh cheese curds, and made friends with lots of utterly cute cows.
Lets paint the picture a little better for you! This beautiful property, with the original farm house, includes the barn, milking parlor, creamery, and restaurant/store. Several buildings throughout the farm house the bounty of cows (weird, right?) in all there stages of life. Don’t forget the friendly barn kitties! We started our tour in the Milking Barn where the store detailing the history of the farm and how the current owners came to operate the farm and creamery.
Fast-forward to present-day, Linda and Jerry own and operate the farm. We learned that only 8-10% of the milk produced on the farm is used for their creamery and the rest is sold. Their creamery is the vision of their third daughter, Alise’s dream. Their creamery has only been in business for 7 years! And the cheese they make is TO DIE FOR!
After the tour, we were treated with a sampling of 4 cheeses that they offer and couldn’t leave without bringing some back with us! :)
They also have an adorable little shop with local goods (jams, salts, books, and more) along with some beers/ciders/wine and 2 sandwich specials with 2 cheese curd specials. So we had to try both! We tried a brie and apricot jam panini along with some maple bacon pan-fried cheese curds.

Halloween Large Box
Halloween Large Box available until 10/31/21 featuring some Midwest cheeses and some complimentary meats, crackers and nibbles.
As Halloween approaches, we are kicking off this spooky holiday with a special limited-time Halloween Box featuring some pretty amazing fall cheeses. Our charcuterie board includes 4 cheeses that is perfect for any adult handing out candy or your Halloween party.
The first cheese we are featuring is: Pumpkin Spice Cheddar from Henning’s Cheese which is located in Kiel, Wisconsin. This cheddar is a flavored yellow cheddar but has a spicy pumpkin taste that is a perfect start to building this box.
Next up is from one of our favorite creameries, Marieke Gouda which is located in Thorp, Wisconsin. They have a plethora of different Gouda’s to choose from and the one we selected for the Halloween Box was a Black Mustard Gouda.
Then we also have some cheese from Dimock, South Dakota from Dimock Cheese. We have their Pepper Colby Jack in this box, a spicy but flavorful cheese that has a bit of zip to it.
And we can’t forget about the goat cheese! We love adding this to the mix and have a cranberry goat cheese in the mix, to add some sweetness to the box!
Lastly, we go back to Marieke Gouda to feature their Wine Cheddar. A strong wine flavor and better-yet, the veins in this cheese add to the spooky box!
